Picture
We’re excited to share that in October 2025 our team met in Bologna 🇮🇹 for testing our training course “Empowering Educators: Digital Citizenship Training for Adult Learners with Disabilities.” 🎓✨

For five days, from the 13th to the 17th of October, participants explored digital citizenship 💻, tested activities 🎲, exchanged ideas 💬, and strengthened collaboration across Europe 🌍. The course aims to equip adult educators with tools 🛠️, methods 📘, and inclusive approaches 🤗 to teach digital citizenship to learners with intellectual disabilities 🧠.

During the week, we shared expectations and experiences 💭, explored the elements of digital citizenship, learned about inclusive teaching methods 🧩 and accessibility tools 🎧, practiced non-formal education 🎵, gamification🃏 and collaborative approaches 🔄, and discussed digital skills, online safety 🔒, and digital ethics ⚖️.

Beyond the training, participants discovered Bologna’s vibrant culture 🏛️ and shared great food and conversations 🍝! The perfect mix of learning, connection, and fun! 🎉

CO-CREATION WORKSHOP 🌟

Picture
We are glad to inform you that the CITIZEN-A Project successfully held its Co-Creation Workshop in March 2025 📅.
During this interactive event 🤝, adult educators from our partnership came together to share their experiences 💬, challenges ⚡, and priorities 🎯 on how to teach digital citizenship 💻🌍 to adults with intellectual disabilities.
The workshop also introduced our Co-Creation Platform 🌐, a collaborative online space where participants can continue exchanging ideas 💡 and resources 📚. Thanks to the active engagement 🙌 of educators, we gathered valuable input that directly contributed to shaping the draft of our training course:
“Empowering Educators: Digital Citizenship Training for Adult Learners with Disabilities” 🎓✨
We warmly thank all participants 💖 for their involvement and look forward to building on this co-creation journey 🚀.
First TPM in Zagreb
Picture
The CITIZEN-A project team gathered for the first TPM (Transnational Project Meeting) from February 3-5, 2025 in Zagreb, Croatia!

During these three days, all partners from Italy, Spain, Croatia, Bulgaria and Germany focused on getting to know each other, building strong connections and creating a good team spirit.

The agenda included a comprehensive overview of the project’s objectives and outcomes, and a discussion on the general implementation process of the project talking about Financial Management, Project Management tools and the Dissemination Plan.

The participants also planned the first activities, specifically the design of the co-creation collaborative platform and the Workshop, delineating tasks and responsibilities for each partner.
